Wednesday, March 24 Kick Butts Day and Flash Mob
Get ready, because this is going to be big! Kick Butts Day (KBD) is an annual celebration of youth advocacy, leadership, and activism all—geared toward exposing Big Tobacco’s lies. So what better way to celebrate this event than by doing some statewide activism?
To get our message across for this year’s Kick Butts Day, we’re going to be creating flash mobs across the state. A flash mob is a large group of people suddenly assembling in a public place and then performing a specific action. Once it’s over, the group quickly leaves the scene. A flash mob can consist of a few people—or a few hundred!

Here’s our plan
We’re going to help you start a flash mob in your town on KBD, Wednesday, March 24. By doing this, people across the state will be exposed to the message: “We Don’t Want to Hear It. We’re tired of the tobacco industry claiming that they’ve changed when in fact they are still killing 14,400 people every day. We want to see real change!”
Request a toolkit by March 11, and we’ll send you some t-shirts, iron-ons, and instructions so you can organize your own flash mob! Kits are limited so request yours early.
